The Supermarket Super Group is a multitalented group of food friends who create stories and songs that help to introduce kids to the importance of nutrition and good health. Through reading, games and music, we invite you to experience a wonderfully delicious, endlessly entertaining new world. This is a place where foods come to life, where we sing, dance, laugh and learn – TOGETHER!
Inspired by the birth of their two daughters, August and Phoenix. Darren and Candice Romanelli created Supermarket Super Group out of a desire to educate their own children about food, eating and nutrition, centered around a fun, family-oriented creative project. The couple drew upon their vast experience in art, music, and culture to develop Supermarket Super Group, not only as a classic children’s book series, but as a sing-a-long album, app and more.
A portion of all proceeds from Supermarket Super Group goes to fund The Edible Schoolyard Project.
